I bought the Pro model a couple of months ago for myself and I liked it so for Christmas I bought my father the standard model. I’ve been a Xiaomi user for years before this though and my last phone was the Redmi Note 7

Very disappointed with this phone. From all the reviews I expected it to be much better. For one it does not like to connect to Bluetooth speakers, the audio is extremely choppy and stuttery when listening to music on a Bluetooth speaker, so far connected it to a JBL Charge 3 & JBL Charge 4 and a few different sony speakers and every speaker is choppy. Tried with other phones and the audio from the speakers is perfect. Youtube will also stutter when watching videos, the videos will play at like 5fps and is un watchable. Apps run quite slow in comparison to my old Samsung s10. Claims to have a 50MP camera but is worse quality then my old phone which only had a 10MP camera. The phone uses some weird apps to control everything. For example if you want to change your alarm tone, ringtone or wallpaper it’ll bring you to a app which has ads that you cant skip. Like I just want to change from the default stuff but is very annoying to attempt as its riddled with ads and random paid for content.
I really do not recommend this phone. I only own it a few days and really regret spending my money on this and wish I just spent a few extra euro for a better phone like a samsung or oneplus or even a Huawei. If only I had bought in store so I could return it.
